One of the Polish language’s greatest tongue twisters, even for native speakers, is Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz. The name of the beautiful city of Wałbrzych, while nowhere near as wild as Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz, can still give you a run for your money and tie your tongue in knots if Polish is not your first language. I once heard a wise man say that mastering Wałbrzych is like stretching before the real workout that is Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz. Yes, I have said Grzegorz Brzęczyszczykiewicz three times now. Four, actually. Now enjoy some pics of Grze… I mean, Wałbrzych. You earned it.

If Apple’s Live Voicemail feature has left you scratching your head, below is a quick breakdown of what it does and does not do. I am, of course, happy to be corrected if I have misunderstood anything.
Q: Does Apple’s Live Voicemail, available on iOS 18 and above, mean that I will have full Visual Voicemail functionality even though my network hasn’t implemented Visual Voicemail?
A: No.
Q: What functionality will I have if my network doesn’t support Visual Voicemail?
A: Whether your network does or doesn’t support Visual Voicemail, when Apple’s new Live Voicemail is switched on, your handset’s operating system (iOS) will “intercept” the call before it has a chance to divert to your network’s voicemail system. However, the caller’s message will be delivered to your handset’s Voicemail Inbox ONLY IN THE SCENARIO WHERE THE PHONE RINGS FOR THE INCOMING CALL BUT YOU DON’T PICK UP. The caller will be able to leave a message, but this message will be handled by iOS, not by your network.
Q: What if my phone is switched off or in a no-signal area, and someone leaves a message? Will I see the message displayed as a Visual Voicemail message on my iPhone?
A: In this case, the message will be handled by your mobile network’s voicemail system, not by your handset. Whether you see it as a Visual Voicemail message will depend on whether your network supports Visual Voicemail. If your network doesn’t support Visual Voicemail, then iOS 18 and above won’t perform any “magic”, and you’ll need to listen to the message in the usual way, most likely by manually dialling your network’s voicemail access number.
Long story short: iOS 18 and above’s voicemail enhancement is a layer on top of Visual Voicemail (if your network supports it), not a replacement or standalone Visual Voicemail offering.

Don’t hate me. Pause and think for a second.
Every time I get that “Rate your experience with the agent.” email or text after chatting with a company’s support, I freeze.
I mean, mate… how would I know?
They were polite. Great. No attitude, no sarcasm, no “f*** off” (that’s a bonus, eh). They asked how my day was. Lovely. Tick, tick, tick.
But that’s not the same as knowing they did a good job.
I’ve got no idea what training they’ve had.
No idea what systems they can access.
I don’t know what’s genuinely possible in their role.
For all I know, they’re a genius trapped in a system held together with duct tape and “policy.” Or they could have done better but just didn’t care. From my side of the screen, it all looks the same.
All I can really rate is my experience with the company. The agent is just the visible part of that system. I rate outcomes and the process. Rating the agent is above my pay grade, mate.
I’m not their manager. Their manager can rate them. I can’t.

Mazuma Mobile. Experience review.
My rating:4/5
All in all, smooth sell-your-handset sailing with updates at every turn, and the price offered is reasonable for a fast-sale service. One slight gripe, though (see below).
