My giffgaff community post about why the STAC in-app text is all kinds of wrong.

Here’s an in-app text that appears when one submits a STAC from another network to giffgaff (would post a screenshot but I’m one of the undeserving unfortunately). Noticed anything wrong? I mean, like everything wrong?

"Your number xxxxxxxxxxx is on its way. We’ll be moving it on 23 June. Until then, you can use your temporary number for calls and texts."

Sarcasm aside, the issue here is obviously that this in-app STAC cancellation message still looks very much similar to what the PAC port-in message should look like, and that really has to be fixed asap.

Well, well, well.. Yours truly, being chronically late to the news, just found out about Apple’s price hikes. Even Apple got there, eh… So… Is this all really a 'Bombardino Crocodilo tax' we pay for those tons of 'free' AI brainrot slop? Or is there more to it?
